Red Laced Cornish X and project talk (pics p. 8)

The short story, hens were pure white Cornish, male was a blend of Cornish, Cochin, Brahma, and Wyandotte. The later providing the blue.

Thank you . So from that one , accidental pullet you developed both Silver Laced Brahma and some straight Cornish type with new colors ?

Well her and few thousand of her decendents. Also working on blue laced red Brahmas.

My oldest "Ameraucana X CX " and its two , " Ameraucana X EE " half siblings will be 11 weeks Sunday . The two weigh 1 lb, 8 oz and 1 lb, 9 oz ; the " A X CX " scaled between 3 lbs, 15 oz and 4 lbs . I'm not sure how much they're set back by growing in subzero temps and competeing for feed . My creep feeder is not too effective , if I set the entrance size down enough to keep the smallest Speckled Sussex and Ameraucana pullets [ hatched from March to June ] out , The CX cross [ hatched Nov 21 ] can't get in LOL .
