Katy : They look great, I am glad for you and the CXX's look to be working out, I too will have some new pic's coming soon. I really like that we all have some different idea's and things going on to our breeding program. I don't know if you know just how important a step is in the breeding of these CXX's this will change allot of things for backyard/farm sustainability. Kinda blows the whole Myth doesn't it. Now if we all start to keep more detailed records and share them we could really get on this bicycle and ride it a long way's.
hey al thanks!
I was just showing someone pics of yours and your friends cornishes yesterday. I am so jealous of those birds. Do you know if the the male wlr are always that blotchy red/white look while the females are nicely laced, or is it just random?

The WLR's that do not have definitive red/white markings or lacings are what's known as a Jubilee color in Cornish circles, if you want your WLR to have very good marking'/white lacing breed them one time to a Dark Cornish and the lacing will be great, then breed back to the WLR and cull heavy for lacing that should do it.
