So beard equals red pyle EE to me. But those yellow legs shout out red sex link roo. so im confused. You can only see one of the yellow/gold feathers that hang down at the base of his tail. their are actually a bunch more starting hidden behind the tips of his wings.

Red Pyle is a color pattern. This is an EE, and he does not have that color pattern. In general, one would very much struggle to try to apply an official color pattern to an EE, as they are very mixed birds. If I were to liken this bird's color to another that I had seen elsewhere, I would say that he does look similar to some SLs that I have seen.

But please keep in mind that SLs are a mix too, a hybrid. They don't have a recognized standard, or pattern that someone would judge.

your ee

Where did this bird come from? Except for the beard/muffs, I see no easter egger there. He's sooo leggy and the body doesn't look like any hatchery ee I've run across. Now, if he's second or more generation mutt, then I could see a parent being ee somewhere back down the line. He just looks quite gamey to me.

I agree, he does look somewhat of a game bird. A cross maybe?

The only thing that says EE to me is the beard/muffs. He appears to have a single comb, and IMO they have to have a pea comb or a combo of comb types to qualify as an EE. I'd say he obviously has some EE in him, but he looks like he is mixed with a Red-sexlink or even a Game breed.
