Red rash on chickens legs?

I have two six week old chicks that have a red rash like thing on the outside of their legs. Any idea what it might be and how to treat?

They look normal to me. I don't think you need to do anything.

Not rash, just coloration.

Buff Orps and Speckled Sussex are great breeds. I have two myself!

It's good you are paying attention and looking at things. As they get closer to lay you may see a bit more redness, it can vary a lot breed to breed, and boys will get a lot redder than girls. But they look good and healthy.
