If you have a lot of birds, then work/dust them in groups. Say, do all of a certain breed today, then move on to the next group tomorrow if that makes sense. Follow up with a re-dusting in 5-7 day intervals.

Or else, they have changed the active ingredient.
It is
50g/kg Sulfur
10g/kg Rotenone
Is that any use? Or shall I just go and find some pyrethrum?
It has worked on lice in the past...

Rotenone is pretty toxic to you, your birds and anything else. Please do not use it anymore and wear sleeves, mask and goggles when you clean it out.

I didn't know, and the label said it is safe... and I haven't come across anything before that said it is that toxic. (I'm not doubting you, just explaining)
I will definitely look for an alternative, and take your warning onboard.

@Sussex19 Can you get anything like this over in Australia? Nettex total mite kill. I’ve found it to be invaluable with my battle against mites.
Total Mite Kill contains permethrin insecticides for rapid knockdown, and is also a multi-purpose cleaner. Contains: Permethrin 2.3%, Tetramethrin 0.23%, Benzalkonium chloride. Do not spray on birds or animals, avoid contact with skin.

Yes on the dust and the first one looks to be a product based on permethrin which could be worth a try.
