Are Red Stars and Red Crosses the same breed?

Both are names under which hatcheries market Red Sex Links. Red Sex Links (RSL) are not a "breed", they are a hybrid/cross.

RSL - especially hatchery bred - are known as prolific producers of large brown eggs.

Awesome. I saw red crosses at a local feed store Then when i was looking at hatcheriea, i saw red stars. I was just curious. what color ar RSL female chicks?

Definitely; Red Sex Links are egg laying machines. I've raised Red Sex Links for years, and they, along with my Black Sex Links, have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year.
