my opinion is based on the ones that I had in the past; they are hatchery sex link hybrids, they lay good for a short time, don't breed true, and are cannibalistic to other birds. they taste pretty good if you kill them before they get old and tough.

Thanks for the info. To breed them ill just use a RIR roo and a Delaware hen. How long do they lay good till? Is there another breeds that might be a better brown egg layer?
