Yes you will need a 3 ml syringe with an 18 to 20 gauge needle (or several,) to remove the Tylan. Remove the needle to give it orally. You may be referring to Vet Rx which is an herbal oil containing rosemary, oregano, camphor, and pine oil in a corn oil base. It has nothing that would treat a respiratory disease, but could be compared with Vicks vaporub.
