Red Yolks

Just did a little googling and found references to a food additive called Canthaxanthin. It can color yolks to a red color.
I think it is also used in tanning pills.

I`m not sure I am reading how much vineger you are giving them,jjI use 1 Tab. to a gallon of water and I use apple cider vineger with the mother in it.

Okay they have been confind for the last 4 days, yolks are still Dark orange.
You have to add 2 store bought eggs to one of my chickens eggs to get the dark yellow fresh farm egg color we used to have.
I add about 1/4 cup of vinager to a gallon of water.
If I could just tone them down alittle it would be nice,
They look like something out of a sci fi movie
And my family refuses to eat them
