How old is this boy? His legs look like a normal maturing rooster. I would guess he got into a battle with the others and took the worse of it by suffering some injuries.

My boy is 5 months old. The funny thing is, he is the dominate one. My other boy was a very late bloomer and doesn't even seem interested in being a rooster. I have never seen them so much as challenge each other.
