well like i've said before I'm new at all this but I sure am having a ball learning and doing [IMG]

This is what i had before:

And you know despite the looks of the coop the chickens were happy, but since then I've expanded and had to add on and tweak things a bit to accomidate the flock, and my 5 new members. Any who this is what I have now it's not finished but I'd say it's better [IMG]

the floor to the new addition it 8x8 and the building is 5x8x7 and it's 2' off the ground. Here is a side pic:

A pic of the new roosting space, I'd say it's plenty for 11 chickens

they seem to like their new space under the coop as well:

My roo enjoying the space as well

And it looks as if they approve of the nesting boxes too [IMG]

    Looking pretty good [IMG]

Best advice I can give you is Paint, Paint, Paint. The OSB plywood will only last acouple years without paint. I love the area under the coop, good use of space!

I guess chicken coops are never "finished." They're just like houses, always something to do, change, fix, clean, etc. Yours is looking G-O-O-D! Great job on the improvements. [IMG]

Very nice job! I like the front porch. I'd be up there with a lawnchair and lemonade!
