I picked them up locally. She's starting out like I am, so I'm not mad, just disappointed.
I sold a couple of my older chickens a month or so ago and a few days later my new chicks came down with Cocida, so I get that these things happen.
She offered replacements, but I told her I'd hold off and see what my ratio is.
She said she'll be hatching more for herself next spring and would give me a couple of pullets if I need them. So we'll see.
This kind of thing is also why I put some of my own eggs in too. If I only had Ayam Cemani eggs I would be wondering if there was an issue with the incubator, or if I was handling them too much and so on, but that obviously isn't the case.
