Chickens are pretty habitual so this cover will probably work and he will forget and sleep where he's supposed to! Although, there are some that are determined to make us pull our hair out. Hopefully he doesn't figure out any other escape plans.

There's always one in every bunch. But sometimes they end up becoming our favorites.

I think I candled 8 times by day 14, this time only 6, so I'm getting better about it.

I think Sweety is on the verge of weaning her chicks. They turn 8 weeks on the 28th of October. I noticed her comb and wattles getting a bit of color back in the last few days and last night she finally took them to roost with the older chickens.
