Does anyone know why or what this redness is on Brahma rooster, Only began when he started to mature and seems to be getting darker as his comb & wattles become darker aswell.
No sign of any mites or anything like that.
Thanks

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

Normally red leg streaks on a cockerel coming into maturity are just signs of a hormone flush but your birds legs look a little different than that and what little of his scales I can see look lifted. It could just be feather pushing through.

I'd get a bottle of Lice Freee Spray! and spray his legs nightly getting the solution up under the feathers and saturating his scales. I'd treat him nightly for 10 - 14 days.

His feathered legs make applying Vaseline impractical. I also have a feathered leg rooster and I routinely run him through a course of treatment on his legs prophylactically. I find that keeps his legs in good condition.
