Redness (rash?) Around One Eye

Today while collecting eggs I noticed that one of my hens has a lot of red spots around her right eye. Is this a rash? Mites?
I am a new chicken owner and want to take the best care of her I can!

If you had included your location in your profile, we might be able to guess what parasites you might have, such as mosquitoes that spread fowl pox. I suspect very early stages of fowl pox if you have a mosquito issue at your place.
