So, my very best Silkie pullet is suuuuuuper skinny. I have had her home for a few days, and realized that she is so cresty that she can't see to eat.

I have just trimmed her crest so that she can see now, and I started tube feeding the Katy Exact baby bird feed last night, on top of her having free access to a turkey-grower feed and water (she had vitamins on Sunday). Is there anything else I should be doing to try and get weight back on her? Or is it just keep on doing what I'm doing, and wait it out?

Also, presuming she pulls through, any ideas on how to keep her crest up out of the way without trimming it? Ideally I would like to show her, which rules out keeping it trimmed into it's current stylish mohawk.. I've tried the baby scrunchies, but the other birds just snatch them and run away with their "prize"...

I would continue to do what you've been doing. Once she's more alert and eating on her own, I would cut back on the turkey feed and use chick starter or an all flock feed.
She didn't lose overnight, so she's not going to gain overnight. Slow and steady wins the race.

Get a weight on her now and track it daily or every few days this will help you gauge her progress.

I don't know what you can do about her crest, you may want to ask on the exhibition threads for some tips on how to control her feathers so she can see.
This may help, but others may have better suggestions.
