Reference pictures wanted

Have you ever taken a picture and thought "wow, that's a great illustration" of whatever you were trying to capture?? Well, I'd like to see them! :)

Not your ordinary pics of chickens, ducks, etc that we see every day. But ones that could be used for a Learning Center Article of what something is supposed to look like for someone who has never seen it before and was searching for it. I would like to pull all the good ones together into an Article of "Reference pictures". Photo credit will be given to whoever captures the photo.

Just a few random EXAMPLES:
  • worms in poop
  • vent prolapse
  • angel wing
  • blackhead
  • frostbite
  • mid-zip pic of chick hatching
  • fertile egg bullseye
  • duck's bean/nail
  • predator tracks
  • broody poop
  • poultry bugs/mites/lice etc
  • feather shaft, or specific feather markings like mottled, stenciled, etc
  • before and after pics of a procedure (dubbing, spur removal, etc)
  • inside mouth
  • eggtopsy/necropsy photos, with specific issues identified (probably best to use the Spoiler function)
  • broken beak, toe, leg, wing etc.
  • Fowlpox
  • chicken sling
  • hen wearing a saddle
The list could go on and on and on and on, right??

Or have you ever searched for a picture and couldn't find one??
Ask here and maybe someone will post one!

Please, let's use only original photos, taken by you (or family member, used with permission, etc) and please IDENTIFY what you are illustrating, even if it is likely obvious.

4-5 year old wyandotte hen with suspected ocular Marek’s in one eye. She isn’t blind in that eye, but I’m also not sure how well she can see. It’s also interesting to note that this developed after she was 2 years old, even though Marek’s is said to mostly affect young chickens.

I might have one of a Broody poop. :D

This may get gross. At least it was to get picture of. Real stinky.:lau
(And man, this mama hen wouldn’t poop for nothing on her potty breaks, took her a couple days to actually do anything.) She’s was very dedicated.
Thank you.
I do need to get back to this article. I totally forgot about it.
