I took 12 eggs out of automatic turner yesterday; following instructions that say humidity should be increased and to use sponges to do help raise it. at 5 p.m. yesterday I put in two small sponge strips soaked with water (it's really dry in Texas!) and this morning I read sponge package and it's Cello brand with anti-bacterial something infused in the sponge!!! Please tell me I didn't hurt these peeps!! Then, I bumped the silly thing and eggs went rocking; ugh. So, I'm looking for some words of wisdom; I took out the sponges immediately, and I'm hoping that the movement didn't hurt them either. Please help.
This is about the fourth time I've done this with varying success - really thought I had all controls in place and now this!!!
Thank you.
