I got an egg!!!!!!!!!!!!! This morning after our free range I put them in coop and one gal was in the nest box. I backed away slowly
I wonder if maybe they can't easily get in past the curtains?
I don't use curtains so I don't know how hens react to them.
, came home 3hrs later and there was an egg!!! Such a good chicken she did it in the nest box too! Oh the emotions! Its been an amazing journey this far with the goal of Triple H’s to finally come full circle. (Happy, Healthy, Hens) The egg is on the small side, but, its intact and brings a tear to my eye when i look at it. All our hard work and all the learning curves we’ve faced and we got an Egg!!!! I want to bronze it now, lmao!
The curtains are made of silk so very thin. I had them pinned back on the corners for about 2 weeks and finally unattached them 2 days ago. I got my first egg this morning! I even know who did it! I think i know! She was in the nesting box when i left this morning
