@CluckNDoodle - The inexperienced backyarder that I am thought the chick would be too small inside the shell to properly reach up & peck open the round side of the long egg. Kind of like a five foot tall person trying to touch a seven foot tall ceiling; they're two feet short of the goal xD
Are you going to band your Rockets if the two of them hatch sucessfully?
Wait, is this a chain chomp candle or a Domo Kun candle? it's one of the two and I'm leaning towards Domo Kun due to mouth shape and lack of eye definition.

Is there a chain on the back of it?
I successfully sealed 2 dented shipped bobwhite eggs. I used piggy paint natural nail polish. It is the most natural I had on hand. Both eggs hatched and are doing well.I’m mostly curious about Crackles. I didn’t know you could successfully seal an egg again
Yeah, I think you should seal them with a bit of natural polish. I can never get unsealed ones to hatch due to bacteria. Nail polish is the way to go. Do you have any other chicks she can live with if she hatches? This gives me hope for my cracked silkie/serama egg! She’s been in the bator for 3 days now and is the only silkie/serama egg showing development. I only just noticed the hairline cracks, I’m debating sealing them.
