Sold the big roo.
Grumpy Red EE was eaten. =(
Granny-Girl lays blue eggs.
One hen lays in the coop, Granny lays in the hay, one farts them around the yard...Others not laying yet.

Started putting everyone into one run.

Gotta say, quality of birds has gone down.
All of these F-ed up eggs...I can remember too much calcium, but that's it.
And dodo turkey stuck on a roost...
All the hens hate the 3 roos. They're so annoying.

Caught the younger lgd mauling Blackie. Bird died.
So pissed.
Why are chickens so stupid?!

69 eggs in the fridge.......
Feed 2 each to two dogs per day.
Have to feed tums to the turkeys each week to help with the egg issue.
Cleaned out the pantry, there will be tons of treats for them over the next few days.

Limpy was put in freezer.

One hen has been sitting on eggs. Moved a few blue eggs that Granny hen laid for her to hatch. Today, one did. But dumb mom moved nests. Cold baby, eggs and mom moved into a crate in the house. We'll see if it lives & other eggs hatch or not.

Baby is alive. 4 eggs left. They feel dense and heavy, but idk when they're due. So, just waiting.

Candled the 4 remaining eggs because mom won't sit on them any more.
Heard one peep then move around, others looked empty.
Put together a bin, hoping it works out and mom will take it once dry. Up to 82F and climbing. Had to dribble some water on it and open it some.

Had to use a plant greenhouse and the pan heater for the night.
It then took a dip in the "hottub" that was in there for humidity. It was much happier in there than dry n out. Wtf.
Got the bin I used for the birds this spring set up and moved baby in there with a heat lamp. It was so mad!
Moved momma & sibling in, shoved it under & now I wait to see if they can bond.
So much drama n stress.
