Remember when the news was actually news? You know, what actually went on in the world that day instead of what underwear a celebrity just can't stand or in the case of our local news the Friday dance party? Just can't do without that. ...sheesh.

Have you also noticed that when they are "reporting" on something that happened, many sources don't even bother with the what, when, where, who and why? I'll sometimes tune in to find out about something, and there are no facts, just a wishy-washy vagueness.

Yeah, or else they just rehash what they said earlier and there is no update, just same old same old.

Just caught the tail-end of a report on telly that Cate Blanchett will be starring as Lucille Ball in a movie, written by Aaron Sorkin and produced by Luci and Desi Arnaz Jnr. Aaron Sorkin's done some great TV shows and Cate's pretty good. Hopefully, this'll be a good one.

We called it Chinese jump rope. With the elastic band run between two people and a third in the middle?

I just taught the grandkids Chinese jump rope! We used some elastic I had left over from a project and had so much fun. Loved this as a kid!

Or when you hear the full interview early in the news cast, but what's reported later is twisted into something else that never was.
