I can't remember what I got, but I remember my older sister got AU$8/week and she paid $40 for this "hotpant" outfit. Oh, the drama. Can you imagine dropping (more than, after tax) 5 weeks' wages on a half a metre of chiffon and some tiny little shorts? My mum went berserk.

No, never did chinese jump rope but i know what it is. I still have my metal chinese checker board.
