I have a prayer request today, please.

I went for X-RAYS earlier to check if things are fine and they found a spot on one of my lungs...

They will be looking at it and letting me know what they think of it as soon as they know. All I can do is wait and see now and ask you all who do to send up a prayer that it will be "good", whatever it is... Please.

The doctor told me today that they are going to treat me as decided and see how the lung do... Time and prayers now and thank you for them and the messages and posts here and everything It's all a huge comfort to me...

I just got my first dose of chemotherapy drugs. Wish me luck now, please

Good luck with your treatment. I hope you have a a good support system. Having been through cancer, treatment, surgeries, etc - I can sympathize and empathize. If you need someone to chat with - please send me a message and we can talk by phone, email, this site. The hospital where I received treatment (Dartmouth) had set up support groups. I found having a place to vent, without throwing that burden on my family, was very helpful. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Be well and God Bless.
