Thank you everyone

I got discharged from the hospital yesterday. My usual transport was not available, so I got a taxi. All the way from Dublin to Tipperary! Yes, it cost a lot, but after not seeing my son for 2 weeks... I said let's do this. It was worth the trip too, seeing my beautiful young man last night was so amazing! He made it worth it....

I'm glad this morning to be home for a different reason... When I brushed my hair, it started falling out. Big time... I ended up leaving much of it still waiting for the brush and figured I'll leave it in place for now... Seeing how much I've already lost makes me realise that it's inevitable... My hair has been growing for about 15 years now. It's down to the bottom of my rear end. Now it's going... I guess it's a small price to pay for getting healthy again??

I'm so very glad that you're home and with your son. It sounds like your spirits are high. We're so happy for you and will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Mixed feelings! Very much so I guess from the radiotherapy treatment. I had 5 sessions this week, along with the doctor decision to quit the steroids they had me on... That didn't go down well!

But I'm staying positive

Welcome home Sumi!!! I bet you and Xavier are glad to be reunited. Don't worry about the hair, it will grow back after the treatments are finished. My hair is thinning big time for other reasons and have taken to wearing wigs on my balding head.

We love and miss you Sumi!!!

I am so sorry to hear that you have fallen ill. We will keep you in our prayers and hope for you quick recovery. I missed this when it was first posted. I am glad you out of the hospital and home. It is great to see you online posting here as well.
