well it was a good run, but the bolsheviks of the homeowners association got me. I know, I could fight the chickens on the property but I'm not feeling it, with so many personal issues happening. This community (backyard chicken) has been a blessings and I encourage all to continue the fight.

I'm sorry this happened to you.😕

Sorry about that. Although you are in an HOA, and signed The docs, it’s still frustrating to not be able to keep a few birds.

is it possible for you to haveCotournix Quail in your basement or garage? We’ve done this and they are small, and not terribly messy. They are great for cage confinement and lay eggs everyday. The eggs are small and perfect for pickling and adding hard-boiled to salads whole, etc.

we live in Florida so no basement and the garage can go to 140 degrees in the summer. So we've ruled it out. Thanks for the comment.
