Renaissance Festivals!

My husband and I love Renn Faires too. Our favorite is the Maryland Rennaisance Faire in Crownsville, MD. It is a permanent festival and it is just outstanding.

Another good one that we love to go to is in Pennsylvania near Lancaster. It is also a permanent facility.

We always go in costume too...that is part of the fun. We had been dying for some of those moccasins/boots and finally splurged a couple of years ago and bought us a pair. Expensive, but worth every penny. They are the most wonderful things you will EVER put on your feet. My feet weep with ectasy when I put them on.

One thing that surprised me when I went last year was how large the MN renn fest had grown!! I think you could go for a whole weekend and still not see everything.
My adult kids and I did some more discussing for going to Pennsic next summer for the whole two weeks. Sounds like a perfect vacation to me.
