Cool! We have two tarantulas. They are awesome. Just a note of caution, if they feel threatened they can flick hairs from their abdomens which can hurt and cause an allergic reaction. Usually just an annoying rash. It's called Urticating hairs. Just a heads up. Definitely don't want one of their hairs in your eyes!!

What kind do you have?

I have read all about them flicking their hairs and watched videos on it. I can't wait to get it tomorrow!

I'm looking at grammostola rosea or a aphonopelma seemanni

I know one is a Pink Toe and she's chill as can be. We can easily change her water and have our hands near her, sometimes she will let you hold her. She's a nice size and her little toes are pink, her names Pixie.
The other one is bigger and I'm not sure which kind he is, I will have to ask my DH. This one is not friendly and is always ready to attack. Puts his little hands up the second you put your hands near his cage. Trying to change his water or anything like that pisses him off. He snags a cricket the second you drop it in there. He's a mean little bean!!

:gigive been watching someone on YouTube and he has ones that are mean and ones that are docile. I'm looking at docile ones because I want to be familiar with them before I attempt the aggressive ones.
