Hello!!!
Yes everyone, I'm back!!

Have I told y'all that our neighbor gave us a crested gecko?! If I didn't, then.........OUR NEIGHBOR GAVE US A CRESTED GECKO!!!!!!!
I'm really happy, and a lil nervous that I'm not doing everything right, I want your guy's opinion on things, he's in a horizontal enclosure with two hides and a fake plant, he's got multiple logs to climb on and around. I feed him pangea diet powder food that I mix with water and an occasional mealworm and cricket to keep his diet varied. He's got a nice lil water dish and food dish. And the floor of the enclosure is some paper towels. I personally would like it if the enclosure stayed warmer, the lid is made of cardboard. ( that's just how we got him, I'm looking for something else to use and trying to buy a lid for it, just haven't had the chance due to all this covid crap and right now the roads are too full of snow and ice to drive anywhere LOL) he has a heater with a bulb that I think is either UV or black light, I'm not completely sure all I know is that it's warm and it gives off purple light. This is where things get a little spotty, the light, humidity and temperature and the lid. Any advice is appreciated as I am completely new to this and usually only keep spiders. I have had echo ( yes I forgot to tell you his name is echo) for about 2 months and had completely forgotten about this thread, but now I'm back and need some help. And please don't just say Google is your friend or something like that, I want first-hand advice from you guys;) (even though I will be and have been doing my own research LOL)
