My pet-sitter accidentally left my day gecko’s tank door open while I was away.

Judging by the gecko turds on the floor she was leaving the enclosure, but luckily she was making her way back inside. Love this gecko!

Thanks! It’s been a while since I’ve had any garter snakes but they’ve always been my favorites to keep. In captivity they are a far-cry from their sometimes nervous and flighty wild ancestors.

Another good thing about them is that they’ll eat just about anything and are easy to feed in some way or another at all life stages.
