Reptile Lover’s Thread!!

How is everyone!?
I'm a little sad and anxious. Reptiles have a way of doing that to you. I hope I'm doing the right thing for my ball python by rehoming her. She is actually going to a zoo so I might be able to visit her...that is if she makes it through the move - she is 32 years old afterall. Zuri, my dragon, is still brumating.. 😔

Awwww so sorry :hugs

Just popping by to introduce my two noodles.
I have Nipper the corn snake, turning 30 years old this year. He's just a normie, always hungry and not at all bitey as the name might suggest.
He's over 160cm long though. 😁
This is an old photo, he is now in a bioactive-ish setup.

I also have a Kenyan sand boa called MoaBoa. I got her as a retired breeder after she had to have a c-section with her last litter and they obviously didn't want to breed her any more. She is coming up 18 years (I've had her for ten). Honestly the sweetest most derpy, useless snake ever. 😁🥰 She escapes at times, but only into the laundry basket.

Here is when I quite recently got her. She was.. ehm.. a wee bit on the chubby side. 😏 But at least you can see her lovely markings!

They do indeed with their eyes on top. 😁 Before her I'd always had pretty capable reptiles too, it really surprised me how "floppy" and "non grippy" they are! I know it makes sense with their habitat but handling a sand snake is very different. 🙂
