I am not concerned at all about his foreign policy experience. He can surround himself with people who HAVE foreign experience, ie Ambassador Bolton. It's all about whom you surround yourself with. Look who "Obamageddon" surrounded himself with, and look what we got. UGH. Come on Nov. 2012!!!

For the Ron Paul fans -- if he was elected, which of his promises do you think could actually get accomplished? I'm not doubting his veracity -- I'm wondering how much he can get through Congress.

Well, I hope that wasn't directed toward me, but I can't vote for him until he wins the primary -- I'm a registered Democrat. If he wins the primary, I won't be just pulling the lever for my party reflexively because the other candidate's party is currently repulsive to me -- I'd have some serious thinking to do. It's all about who the Republicans vote for in the primary.

And btw, how many of you actually DO vote in the primary? I'm accustomed to hearing people say they're pulling for this one or that one, but don't bother to actually "pull the lever" until it's time for the general election.

This last national election was a done deal before it even got to my state of Pa. I would NOT have voted for John McCain. I DID vote for him in the general election 'cause #1, I love Sarah Palin, and #2, there was NO WAY I would vote for Obama. I had done my homework. I was no way in **** going to vote for a socialist. I always vote when there's a chance to do so, from local on up.

Oh, I know. Take a look at Obama - I would have voted for him if I could, I know lots who did, because he promised a lot of the same Ron Paul does, and look what happened. . . .

I'm honestly not sure what I can trust will happen, but seeing his history in actually having solid opinions (Obama did after all change his votes and even have no actual say on some things) I have far more trust in him. I actually was a huge supporter of him last time too, but he lost out early, so I went for the next best.

I'll admit though, I never truly looked into his plan for healthcare and so far I'm not really likin' it.

Here interveiw by Dick Morris:

Herman Cain Interview

He knows a lot about foreign policy!

What I want to know, is, do you as a voter know much about foreign policy and more importantly, the history, diplomacy, and behavior of the countries we're putting focus on?

Take Iran for example. I know most out there are all for keeping their wires, noses, and chains on Iran but honestly have you seen the country's history, or read up from a non-biased (or even other sided) source on Ahmadinejad? Or seen what they do have at the moment? (or claim to)

Iraq we (well, some people) were SO sure was a threat and had mass amounts of WMD's and the sort, and look where that went. . .

I'm not picking a fight or disagreeing, I'm just asking, how many of us actually look into the real dirt on what's going on with us and our countries of interest.

Remember this man? Ronald Reagan.

That's someone who works
For the federal government
but doesn't have to take the
civil service examination.'
- Ronald Reagan

'Government is like a baby:
An alimentary canal with a
big appetite at one end and
no sense of responsibility
at the other'
- Ronald Reagan

'The nearest thing to eternal
life we will ever see on
this earth is a
government program.'
- Ronald Reagan

'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession.
I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first'
- Ronald Reagan

'Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases:
If it moves, tax it.
If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving,
subsidize it'
- Ronald Reagan

'Politics is not a bad profession. If you succeed,
there are many rewards;
if you disgrace yourself,
you can always write a book.'
- Ronald Reagan

'No arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is as formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women.'
- Ronald Reagan

'If we ever forget that we're one nation under GOD, then we will be a nation gone under.'
-Ronald Reagan

All some nice quotes but this one. I'd prefer we live under a free nation, one that understands that not everyone believes that.

Exactly my point. One man against the machine is a challenge, regardless of party.
