Just a quick update on my ducks. They are doing great! Obvious weight gain and the female let me pet her today. Black oil sunflower seeds seem to be the magic treat that they will do anything for. Thus far the chickens stay on their side of the yard and the ducks on theirs. My only issue is convincing them that sleeping in their little duck condo beats sleeping under the stars. Now I just need probably two more girls to keep everyone happy.

I just had to share a picture of some of the members of my adorable odd flock. The ducks and silkie chickens decided to be friends and now sleep together and hang out all day. You guys are terrible enablers because now I’m getting ducklings this spring. Poor hubby

I’m so glad you have a blended flock that love to be with each other! So cute.
