Thank you very much, ALL for your answers!
I know how to set up a brooder and yes i still have that kiddie-pool from the Spring Ducklings:
And the heat-pad, and the waterer and the feeder, all that stuff is still there, but i cannot set-up a brooder in the house or the garage! There will be a major renovation in the house, therefore the garage is stuffed full of stuff and the house will be a construction-zone, where ducklings won't be comfortable and for sure will be injured and crippled…
The only thing i can think about is to set up a temporary shelter in the Duckie's vacation home
, i can run an extension cord from the patio and connect a heat-pad for them, but they need at least a little run-area for the day and that's a problem. That cheap-plastic fence
is almost weathered away and won't contain a small duckling.
Will have a sleepless night, i guess…
I'm going to see the little ones 2morrow afternoon, i remember my six week old's were pretty large and i kicked them out of the garage at 8 weeks, but i don't know how those have been treated and nurtured so far.
Will post some pic's tomorrow.
Thank you very much for all your help!
