Congratulations on the goose egg and a great pen setup @Phillyndilly!

A word of advice with ganders fighting through dividers, because they can’t completly reach each they can’t decide who wins or looses so the fight just continues on with them bloodying up their wings and beaks on the fence. I’ve found all it takes to prevent that is an old bed sheet pinned or tied into place so that they can’t see each other and then they don’t fight.

So funny you read my mind. This morning waffles beak was a little bloody so just before when I put them to sleep I put a tarp we had in the coop and it seemed to solve it. Tomorrow I will to for your idea and use and old sheet so that I can tie it into place better!

Hi all so here with a Bruce update. He’s still hysterical Bruce really enjoys yelling at everyone but it’s so funny. Currently he’s being bad he’s trying to steal pancake from waffles. He follows them around and yells at Waffles a little. Then if they are trying to mate he yells at him and then they fought a few times not bad though sometimes Waffles wins but Bruce won the last one. I think he’s just lonely and also horny lol. Pancake and Waffles and very bonded though so I think she will stay a faithful lady. Have any of you had geese who switched ganders?
