We’ve recently been given peachicks in a rescue situation, they are presumed to be around 3 weeks of age. We have them in a large incubator with a warm and cool side, game bird feed, water, and have been trying to build trust with mealworms. Eating and drinking well so far. We were warned there are likely mites, and I hear peachicks should be wormed. What is the best safe parasite protocol at this fragile stage? Thank you!

Mites are very unlikely, however, lice could be a problem. We have never had any lice on chicks that young but if they were with a broody in an unclean environment it could be possible. Personally, I wouldn't worry unless you actually see the lice on the bird. Once the chicks go on the ground you will need to do monthly treatments of Toltrazuril for cocci and either Safeguard or Valbazen for worms until winter sets in.
