Rescued abandoned chicken - has white butt, barely eating, watery yellow poo w black pieces

It feels like a balloon...with a some 'smaller stuff' in it. Is this a good thing Kathy? She was drinking quite a bit this morning. I'd consider doing the tube thing...I have Stress-Aid for poultry which is a vitamin and electrolyte water soluble powder. (this is what she was drinking) She stand, then sits and closes her eyes. Dunno ? Hummm...

I didn't check her crop before...(just learned what one was!) so I would have checked it after her drinking. That would be great news if that was 'normal' !!!! It is about the size of a golf ball...not hard, moves around...with some stuff in it. You are pretty patient in guiding a 'green horn' through this Kathy.

That sounds pretty normal and it should clear in a few hours. Do you have a kitchen or postal scale that you can weigh her on?

She is laying down on the straw. Head down. Tail down. Eyes closed. Feet under her. Breathing was a bit deep...now seems more shallow. When I move she does open her eyes...but then closes them again...oh boy.
