Baby is still doing fine - about to have lunch.
That's a great idea about the crickets to get them used to catching their own food. I'm going to do that.
Miriam- I ended up hatching 7 eggs out of 34. Not such great numbers, but only 11 of the eggs were non-shipped and at I know at least one of the 11 were infertile, so 7 out of 11 is not bad. None of the shipped eggs did anything. I threw them out on day 26. I know some leave them longer, but I was pretty sure they were goners.
Of the 7 that hatched, one died (mushy chick), but all the others are doing wonderfully well. They are now babysitting my 29 two day olds that just arrived (from Ideal).
