This baby arrived at TSC and the others in the crate had attacked it so we rescued it.

She’s eating and drinking and getting along ok with the extra chick we got (can’t raise just one right?).

Is there anything I should do to ward off an infection?

Has the eye been pecked out? I would wash the eye with saline, and apply either Terramycin eye ointment, plain Neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment, or Vetericyn eye gel 2-3 times a day. Chickens can get along with one eye if they are in a familiar environment with food and water.

I’ll try to clean it up and get a better look but yes it does look like there’s little to none of the eye left.
