I was wondering - Speedy and Donella aren't laying, but fancy was still jumping them. If they were to start laying, would the eggs or egg be fertilized?
If so, I want to keep them too - specially Speedy's.

If they were to start laying in the next three weeks, there's a good chance the eggs would be fertile.

Ok, thank you... cause right now I only have 4 as Isabella stopped laying to nest. And they're all kinda sharing the nest even though the eggs are Isabella's.

Meet Sodapop - he's the baby I got to replace Fancy... he thinks Donella is his momma, but they all watch out for him. She's the one that goes crazy when i ducklingnap him though. She's getting better though now that she knows i being him back and he's alright when i do.
Oh and he apparently loves the police and 80s pop music lol - he dive bombed into the water bowl and started swimming in it - scared all of us (ducks and I) until we saw quickly he was fine lol. I knew the water bowl wasnt deep enough for him to drowned but it still startled me when he was swimming cause it was his first.

He’s such a cutie!! Fancy would love him. I am sorry about fancy I haven’t been on byc in awhile and I know this is late but I’ve been following this thread for a long time and I’m so so sorry for your loss. But you’re doing an amazing job and everything looks beautiful!

Thank you so much. Sodapop is getting so big now, he let's me hold him occasionally after I catch him. Kinda like fancy when I first got him, but it was just speedy and I back then with the twins in the equation it's different.
Wait til y'all see the new pen and coop - I'm still painting the coop and the pen is supposed to be here tomorrow.

All four coming over for some oats, the twins even hopped up next to me to get some.
