Rescued Duckling... newbie

Lol, seriously they are made sturdy! I would almost cry when I found out what they do and was comparing speedy to fancy - soda though is more speedy size then fancys though - we will see how much bigger he'll get.

Btw - may I get that diagram on how to cut their wings from you again, please?
The twins are growing their flight feathers back in and soda has been flying like speedy does. I know speedy won't leave me, but I worry about soda and the twins as we're not in a rural area, and there are dogs in the yard next door and behind that I don't want to tear through the fence to get to them if they fly over it. Not like when speedy had her first flight, and my neighbors didn't have fenced in yards.

Oh, and do female muscovies sometimes have blue eyes? Cause I'm starting to second guess my theory, and the guy I got soda from ability to sex ducklings - I think soda is female or a small male. He's shaped, and sized just like speedy and is already flying just like she was - and makes that same little chirp noise when I pick him up like she does. And the kisses are gentle like Speedy's whereas sugar's hurt and sharper, like Fancy's, if that makes sense.

We finally got brave enough to clip everyone's wings except Speedy and sugar. Speedy stays close to me, sugar's wings haven't grown in yet.
Had to do it because the twins feathers grew back in and they're done melting. Donella decided to take flight to the roof of the shed and I scared her a little when I tried to get her down. So, she took off around the house and I told my mom to go out front to look while I got the others in the pen. She comes in as I'm going out saying she didnt see her... I get out there and she's in the middle of the street!!! She actually let me pick her up and carry her back in. We clipped her wings right after that. No more! She coulda been hurt, landing in someone's backyard or ran over!
They just finished molting, and I told my mom we were gonna have to do it. She was scared to like me, but once it was done she was like that wasn't so bad. I agreed.
I caught each one and held them, calmed them down, put a light towel over their head and body as I held them with one arm closed to me and spread out one wing and told my mom where to clip and she did it!
Isabella is done.
Donella is done.
Soda is done, his were the biggest and he's still a baby.
Sugar will get hers done when they grow in, and I'm not doing speedys.

Oh and speedy finally started laying again! We're at 7 and counting! They aren't fertile, I don't think - since fancy died July 5th...
I've been taking them everyday, though.

Only problem I have locking my broody out is they are in two different coops which both have the nesting boxes so poor layers wouldn’t have access to their nest boxes plus I have tried it some years back and my muscovys would hang on the hardware cloth on their doors wanting back in so I just let it run its course. They are nutty

They are!. Isabella was awesome yesterday, letting me pick her up and hold her - cuddle a little bit. Then last night bit the crap outta my hand lol.

I might have to clip donella's wings a little more, she's still able to get up onto of a 6 foot tall roof...
