I am honored to be your first post too!!!!

Well, two nights ago, I noticed that Hope was sitting in her old crate box in the coop huddled down like she used to do when I first got her. She just didnt look happy. Kind of hunched up a little. I thought maybe she wasnt feeling well, so i went and got her old towel and wrapped it around her nest so she could cuddle in it like she used to do. I checked on her in the morning and she was up and rooting around the coop floor, but just still looked a little 'off'. Yesterday she still seemed a little 'slow' on her feet and hunched a little. I did get an egg from her, so that is ok. She is not jumping off the roost so to speak for food. She normally will bite your hand off to chow down on anything. This morning she just kind of looked at lettuce and picked a piece or two. Her color is good, eyes are clear, chest is clear. I looked her over really well, no injuries. I did notice her poop was watery and a different color than normal. What did she get into I wonder? I hope nothing serious.

I went home for luch to check on her. I wormed them about two weeks ago with Zimectin gold. I was going to wait for another week or two and worm with Albazon. her crop seemed empty when I got home at noon, so she isnt eating today. I will see what I can get down her when I get home. I will scramble and egg or 2 for her to chown down on hopefully. She was pecking around the garage last week when the weather was nice, I hope she didnt get into anything around the garage (outside)

I will do that Bogtown. :)

How is Hope doing? One of my old girls was a bit like this a couple of weeks ago. I was convinced she was going to die as she wasn't interested in food and stood looking huddled. A couple of days later I came back from work and she was running up and down with her sister asking for food as if nothing had ever been wrong. She has been fine since (she is 8 years old) so it's a mystery. Maybe she had eaten something bad and had a bellyache. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Hope will make a good recovery too.
