Rescued this mom and her babies today. I believe they are black Swedish not totally positive to be honest. Any ideas on breed so I can ensure they are happy?

They are mallard derived and may very well be Black Swedish or crosses. Well done on the rescue. Provide feed, water, and a safe pen/coop and they will be happy.

Sweet! What were the circumstances? They look like my Swedish-Rouen-Welsh Harlequin crosses. The little one in the forefront of the picture is a mallard with a bent wing who flew in 2 years ago and never left EDIT: I should add there is some Cayuga in there as well.

13 babies and mom. I don't believe I will have to clip thier wings because they looks already clipped.

Someone in the bigger city near me found they on a busy street and too little to hop the curb, so he took mom and babies home with him about 3 weeks ago. He said they are about 4 weeks old.
