Pretty girls! They seem to have come through the experience pretty well!Here you go! I checked on them as soon as it got light this morning and they seem happy. They're not afraid of us at all so in their minds maybe it was all just a nightmare. I'm curious if anyone can identify Dahlia (the white one). She looks like a Sussex to me but she has a lot of buff feathers and her neck feathers aren't as black as the pictures of a Light Sussex. Could she be mixed with Buff Orpington maybe? I'm not familiar with the Sussex breed at all.

It's possible that they had a reason for not keeping them (illmess, moving, ect.) And couldn't find someone to take them. I can't even get people to take pol pullets where I am nowYay! So happy they found a forever home! Who would dump 4 pretty hens all alone??
