Resolved---Big thanks to 2 NC posters :)

It looks like I can now see the head down there under the foot wing. It's still breathing. I will wrap it it up.

Should I put it under the lamp? How often should I check on it?

Thanks for your help!!!

So you don't know when it's actually due? It will be shrink wrapped if you don't keep it moist. If it's peeping go ahead and let it out.
I accidentally opened a "dud" CHICKEN egg about a dime size hole...was alive! (Only day 19) I melted wax and spread it over the hole, placed back under the broody. Next day it was still alive so I carefully opened the egg. The chick is 2 weeks old and thriving!

Well it's brother or sister is 4 days old so it should be due any time. I did hear one peep. But I do see those veins. I don't want to wait so late that's it's dried out, but don't want to help to early either...

Forgot to add...My live egg did have blood and yolk was almost absorbed when I "hatched it". Not telling you what to do but he'll probably get shrink wrapped and die if you don't intervene.

Help it hatch or it will shrink wrap...... I agree to that.
