I love Nana's comment about the paint stirrer. We had an actual paddle, picture of a kid bent over a barrel on it. Had it hanging on a hook in the kitchen. My youngest is now 37 and mentioned to his kids about being paddled with it, so I told him go get it and show it to the kids. He came back laughing--the knob on the hook was too big to get the paddle off the wall! We had to run the hook through from behind and the thing had NEVER been off the wall! But they still 'remembered' being paddled. We all had a good laugh.
