Respiratory infection???

I believe my 2 ducks have respiratory infections. I'm speaking with a vet tomorrow but wondering if anyone else has some other ideas/tips. How did you treat your ducks with a respiratory infection? What can happen, death?

What did the vet say?
Severe respiratory infections can kill poultry and many diseases make them carriers for life even if they recover. The only way to know for certain which disease you are dealing with is to have them tested.
Tylosin is frequently used to address secondary bacterial infections associated with respiratory infections.

@DobieLover Thanks for the info! Vet said that we'd have to come in for a visit for any info. Quick question, would this work to treat it? Not sure if this is the right "tylosin" stuff

You can get it from amazon UK as well, but if you live in the US, it might be checked by customs since its illegal (an all natural product!) I'm the US. Mine eventually came.

Yes. It will work. It appears you need a prescription to get it.
