rest in peace :(

i know its a crime i contacted the police and animal protection the police station said that they cant help me with my animals but they will have there eye out for anyone with guns and animal protection said to install cameras around the house and get everything fenced in witch we are doing right now we started building 2 weeks ago its almost done

Last June I could have pressed charges & sued when my chickens were killed by the neighbors dogs but I didn't. Because in the end I realized no one could really help me "replace" what was lost. I picked myself up and rebuilt & reinforced the coop! Good Luck to You! My heart goes out to you in the awful situation!

Killed by dogs is way different than a person with a gun, even a bb gun, willfully shooting someone's animals.
I find it really hard to believe that the police would not be interested in this.

I fully agree with you. Somebody comes onto YOUR property, and kills your livestock. THAT is a crime. What kind of police force is this? Sounds like some kind of KeystoneKop outfit to me. Tell them to drop the donnuts and get on it.

I wasn't trying to say it was the same! I know it's different! But when one learns that someone knowingly & willfully let not one BUT TWO vicious animals out on purpose to roam the neighborhood because they didn't like them being there, and when they, the owners, find out the dogs are deceased - they act like their glad the dogs gone! It's the actions of when someone knowingly & willfully does something that causes harm to another - that's how I can identify with this!

I'm sorry for having offended someone! I'll move along now... goodbye!

I don't think you offended anyone. But, someone shooting somebody's livestock is a notch above a dog doing what a goofball dog will do. A dog doesn't really have a sense of wrong and right. But a human is supposed to. Again, I don't think you offended anybody.

I'm offended now!

No one can see that it's not the dogs I blame! Like I said "It's the actions of when someone knowingly & willfully does something that causes harm to another - that's how I can identify with this!"

"An eye out for anyone with guns"! Were you able to file a report? Somebody coming onto your property and shooting your animals is a serious crime. The police need to take that more seriously.

I don't know your situation, but My neighbor let their dog, (JackRussel terrier) run loose, and one day he came down onto my property and got after my birds. tore 4 of them up, 1 pretty bad. Now, they just couldn't believe that their dog would do that, but he did. They weren't malicious about it, their dog just did what dogs do. Now maybe your neighbors are A-holes and they purposely let their blood thirsty maniacal dogs loose to terrorize the neighborhood. Then, yes, I can see where you are coming from. I'm still not offended though. :)

Thats BS, animals are considered property in the eyes of the law, someone damaged your property, at the very least a report should be made. You can go to the police station and file the report yourself. So sorry for your loss!
