My hubby has this problem but it may be of restless something else.
When he comes to bed, gets settled in, he would jerk his left arm and leg at the same time for every seven to ten seconds for an hour before he shifts sides. Then he starts up again. I do not know what this is called but it looks like tics.
It keeps me up most of the nights. When I mentioned it to him, he would have to tie up his arms together in his underwear to keep them from hitting me or arms flying outward, like if he was swatting a fly near his ear. ALL night long! His legs would kick outward. Its like a timing clock, every seven seconds, he would do it repeatly.
He does not drink caffeine, nor eats red meat. He does not eat any fruits or veggies. He is mainly a peanut butter sandwich, FF, ice cream, potato (chips or mashed), water and loves sweets but we dont have sweets that much in the house.
He donates blood at the Red Cross like clockwork and his iron contents are good. Once in a blue moon when he over exterts himself the day before, his iron would be pretty low but not anemic. He had his physical checkup and doc said he is fine, nothing is low and choestrol is very good.
Now would this consider to be restless left side syndrome???????
