I bought a flock from an airman who got short notice on redeployment , had to just bring them home and dump them with the other chickens before I could seperate them (the next day ) . when I got back to them the next day I found 3 with runny noses and 1 with a swelled ( slightly) eys so I seperated them and treated them with tylan50 and vet rx , too late 5 more came down with same problem
they too went to treatment pen , 3 died including my old RIR roo that was here already , none of the treated chickens are showing any signs of whatever it was that they had , all the houses / coops have been diseinfected , Question is do I re introduce them to the flock or cull them to the freezer pen , or worse ?

You really should read up on respiratory diseases if you haven't; many experienced chicken keepers on here would cull the flock, sorry. You might consider getting a necropsy done through the state vet or an ag college -- my vet offered to help me hook up with the right party, though he does not treat chickens. Best to find out just what you have. Meanwhile, don't let any chickens or hatching eggs off your property, for others' sakes.

Sorry you are going through this.

only 10 showed any signs at all some of them minor and 3 died , all have been moved to a remote pen and treated, at the first sign of illness ,and now show no signs at all still I just gave them to a man that needs them and all will be terminal by tomorrow , I identified the rooster that I think brought it all on and he was never in the pen with the others here , he was with them at the other place .
